Pinot Meunier is rarely made as a red table wine and most often is grown for sparkling wine, being approximately one third of all the grapes grown in the Champagne region of France. The small dark berries produce a light bodied wine with an intense Morello cherry fragrance and a palate of opulent fruit, savoury tannin's and refreshing acidity typical of the Snowy Mountains foothills of Tumbarumba.
